Job Title: Sales & Marketing Assistant to the Owner

Shibumi is a rapidly expanding fashion label and we need a fabulous new member of staff to drive the sales & all marketing. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Fashion Retail & Marketing at least 5 years experience in the fashion industry in retail & online sales, a proven track record of successful digital marketing with a passion for design & customer care.

We need you to care hugely about our products, our business and our customers; we pack our clothes with genuine love. You must be efficient, reliable & flexible, have a real eye for detail, be calm under pressure and bring energy & enthusiasm to work.

This role is Monday - Friday and some weekends. There is opportunity for commission at events as well.

Salary £19,000 Full Time/ plus commission

At the Shibumi office & showroom in Horsley, Gloucestershire and shows & events all over the UK.

Job description:

You will need to be passionate about fashion, design, fabrics and making women & men of all sizes look fabulous. You will be working at the showroom & office in Horsley with the owner Ruth Guise. You will be managing the office, receiving & processing online orders, updating the back office with sales data. You will need to take telephone calls, creating sales, arranging bespoke appointments for visits to the showroom and providing high levels of customer service throughout the sales process – an eye for detail, a completer finisher ‘can do’ attitude is a must. You will be running events & shows when required and provide personalized service finding the most beautiful outfit and ensuring it fits. You will need to know how to iron to a high standard and pack garments effectively for posting when required ( we do have someone else also doing this ).

You will be managing our social media channels on Instagram & Facebook and Twitter providing creative written, graphic & video content. You will need to produce Mailchimp newsletters writing the copy and adapting photographic content for newsletters and the website so a knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom is essential. You will need to use timelines & scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new material for audience interaction. You will be doing the Google Analytics to ensure the social media is performing, illustrating the success of the activity so excellent creative & copy writing skills are a must with an excellent knowledge of the digital platforms. Writing copy & obtaining PR will also be desirable & supporting Ruth at photo shoots may also be required.
